Red field with white cyrillic B K P. Unique party (possibly with unrepresentative satellites) of PDR of Bulgaria. Followers of the BCP certainly changed of name and emblems.

Ivan Sache, 06 August 1999

In 1990 the Bulgarian Communist Party changed its name into Bulgarian Socialist Party. Part of the radical left wing of the party started several new parties named Bulgarian Communist Party and variations of this name. They use the former Soviet flag or a plain red flag or versions of the flag of the International Labour Movement. These flags ares sometimes used also by the left wing of the actual Bulgarian Socialist Party.
